Did anyone catch the release date for the 360 it apparently sold 17 million from November 2007 to date.
This is completely ridiculous, why include an HD-dvd player and price it above the other models available on the market. This has to be the dumbest thing i have read all morning. The inclusion of all this stuff(wiFi, HD-DVD,) just justifies the fact that the ps3 is the ultimate gaming console because Microsoft is scared and needed to step up their game.
this game is awesome. the best online experience i have played thus far. i only wish it had offline multiplayer, like cod4 so i can kick the crap out of my friends. If anyone wants to add me my psn is siriusrocks23.
According to the article 7.7 Million for Ps3, 14 something million 360's, so that is pretty sweet for a more expensive console. Everyone thinks that it is going to catch up next year is naive. I like the fact that my ps3 will produce new innovative games for the next 7 years or so. I do appreciate the fact that the Wii is kicking as$, that is awesome. wii sales represent the fact that graphics are not a godsend for video games but they do help.
I own 20 games so far the best of which are UT3, HS, R&C, and RFOM and lost season 3, Spiderman 3, Pirates 3, The invisible and the simpson movie on Bluray. I agree with the guy below me about the war being drug out for the next couple of years, but if bluray keeps winning the battles they will eventually win the war.
well sales for both formats will be up over christmas, and especially boxing day as Future Shop offered them for 19.99. I know i had a few Bluray disks old santa brought me. Lost season 3, Planet earth, Pirates 3, spiderman 3 and the simpson movie. From a financial perspective i think HD DVD wants to drag this war out for as long as possible, and the fans of that format want to win so they didn't invest in a lost format. In the end Bluray will prevail as it has been out for a shorter time...
I am not worried about sales right now, you see when the 360 is replaced in 3 years its sales will come to a screeching hault, and the ps3 will still sell. Its a marathon not a sprint people. Look how the ps2 still sells......sony paces themselves for the long run.
and so far it is an awesome experience. As of right now it is more fun than COD4 online, but i am pretty pissed about the lack of mods.
Transformers for best audio, was i wrong but I thought it was unable to fit the hi-def audio on the disc, or did i get cought up in a bunch of bs?
but it was not great. It only took like 4 hours to beat, but it was all in all a good game, IMO.
how is it that the ps3 cant handle split screen? Oh ps3 has split screen on COD4!!
I read in a psm that it had 4 player co-op, then i got my pre-order and it didn't have it but i really enjoy this, already more so than COD4 online, and resistance.
This is my favorite online shooter. I can't wait for the mods to start.
If you actually look the PS3 version as i stated earlier in an interview in the PSM magazine it states the PS3 version is 720p and 30fps.
